X Guangzhou Guangchuan Phase III Land Pollution Soil Remediation Project

The Guangzhou Guangchuan Phase III plot is located at No. 40 Fangcun Avenue South, Liwan District, Guangzhou City, within the Guangchuan International Co., Ltd. plot ("Guangchuan Plot"). The total amount of earthwork that needs to be repaired (or disposed of) within the plot is approximately 100463 m3, with a total repair area of 40738 m2 and a repair depth of 0-8m. The soil pollutants that need to be repaired include lead, arsenic, copper, zinc, nickel, fluoride, petroleum hydrocarbons (C10-C40), benzo (a) anthracene, benzo (b) fluoranthene, benzo (a) pyrene, and dibenzo (a, h) anthracene. Adopting cement kiln collaborative disposal technology, ex situ thermal desorption, ex situ leaching technology, ex situ chemical oxidation technology, horizontal barrier, vertical barrier and other processes for treatment. The contract period for this project is 240 days. Passed the expert review for effectiveness evaluation in September 2022. Remove from the list of soil pollution risk control and remediation for construction land in January 2023.

The repair construction process of this project involves multiple repair techniques and cross construction, as well as deep foundation pit excavation, support, precipitation and other processes. The cross construction of multiple professional projects results in a large area of site pollution and a large amount of contaminated soil. However, the uncontaminated area available for storage is relatively small, and the turnover of soil is difficult. The organization of on-site construction, resource allocation, and process arrangement are key and difficult points.
