YSFB Series Bilge Water Separator

The company has developed three series of bilge water separators: ZYF-Z, YSF, and YSFB, which comply with the requirements of IMO Resolution MEPC.107 (49). The treatment capacity ranges from 0.5m³/h to 5m³/h. The YSFB series 5ppm bilge water separator is the first domestic product to complete type approval testing and certification, meeting the requirements of CCS's Green Ship Code and DNV Type Approval Programmer No. 771.60. The product has obtained type approval certificates from IMO, CCS, and MED, covering all ship types and boasting a global service network.

Understanding Bilge Water Separators: Key to Ship Pollution Control

--- Bilge water separators are essential devices found on ships, designed specifically to manage and treat bilge water—the wastewater that accumulates in the lowest part of a ship’s hull. This water often contains a mixture of oil, grease, and other contaminants, which if discharged untreated, can lead to severe marine pollution. Consequently, the use of a bilge water separator is not just a regul

The Essential Role of Bilge Water Separators in Large-Scale Shipping

In the maritime industry, the management of bilge water is a crucial aspect of operational sustainability and environmental compliance. Large-scale ships, which often operate for extended periods and cover vast distances, generate significant amounts of bilge water. This wastewater, resulting from various ship operations, can contain harmful substances such as oil, chemicals, and other pollutants.

Understanding Bilge Water Separators: Essential Equipment for Ship Pollution Control

--- Bilge water separators are critical components in the maritime industry, particularly when it comes to pollution control. These systems are specifically designed to treat bilge water—water that accumulates in the lowest part of a ship's hull—before it is discharged into the sea. Given the potential environmental impact of bilge water, understanding how these separators operate and their import

Understanding Bilge Water Separators for Large-Scale Ships: Essential Insights

Bilge water separators, also known as oily water separators, are vital components on large-scale ships, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while promoting safe maritime practices. These systems are designed to separate oil and other contaminants from bilge water—a mixture of water accumulated in the lowest part of a ship, which can include leaks, spills, and operational discharge.

Understanding Bilge Water Separators: Essential Technology for Ship Pollution Control

Bilge water separators are essential systems used on ships to manage and treat bilge water, which is a mixture of water, oil, and other contaminants that accumulate in the lowest part of a vessel. As ships operate, they may collect this wastewater from various sources, including engine rooms, cargo holds, and other operational areas. The effective management of bilge water is not only a regulatory
