Guizhou Province Hazardous Waste and Guiyang City Medical Waste Treatment and Disposal Center Expansion Equipment Procurement Project Project Introduction

The Guizhou Hazardous Waste and Guiyang Medical Waste Treatment and Disposal Center Expansion Equipment Procurement Project is located in Shangbangou, Fenghuang Village, Xiaoqing Township, Xiuwen County, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. The project involves the construction of a new 50-ton/day (16,500-ton/year) medical waste incineration production line, sewage treatment and triple-effect evaporation, exhaust gas treatment systems, electrical systems, and stabilization and solidification systems.

The equipment and electrical automation systems within the new structure include electrical piping, cable tray installation, cable laying and wiring, and the procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical instrumentation.

① Incineration System: The incineration system consists of a feeding system, loading, crushing and feeding system, medical waste feeding and cleaning system, combustion support system, incineration system, waste heat boiler system, quenching system, dry deacidification system, bag filter system, wet deacidification system, wet electrostatic precipitator system, and SNCR system. The denitrification system, flue gas system, compressed air system, fly ash conveying system, cooling circulation system, automatic control and instrumentation system, and electrical system equipment were installed and commissioned. The equipment arrived on site in early June 2022, and the furnace was ignited and dried on August 28, followed by system integration commissioning.
② Triple-effect evaporation system: This project's triple-effect evaporation system treats the high-salinity wastewater generated by the incineration system. The system primarily consists of a pretreatment unit, dosing system, triple-effect heating, triple-effect separation, a high-efficiency demister, condenser, preheater, water pump, pipeline valves, and steel structure.
③ Sewage treatment system: The sewage treatment system is a supporting ancillary facility for the Guizhou Provincial Hazardous Waste and Guiyang Municipal Medical Waste Treatment and Disposal Center expansion project. The project primarily treats workshop floor wash water, transport vehicle wash water, incineration system wastewater, domestic wastewater, and medical waste container wash water. This ancillary project is a renovation and expansion project, rationally utilizing existing structures and wastewater treatment equipment. Therefore, the wastewater treatment capacity required careful consideration, both in determining equipment type to avoid excessive investment and long-term idleness, and in ensuring that the treated water meets specific standards. Pollutants discharged due to untimely wastewater treatment must not contaminate external water bodies.

④ Stabilization and Solidification System: This project is for the stabilization/solidification system of the waste safety disposal center within the Guizhou Provincial Hazardous Waste and Guiyang Municipal Medical Waste Treatment and Disposal Center expansion project. It has a daily processing capacity of approximately 100 tons and an annual operating time of 330 days. Based on an analysis of the materials to be solidified, and considering the safety, cost-effectiveness, broad applicability, and maturity of the process equipment and technology, a comprehensive solidification/stabilization method primarily based on cement, fly ash, and chemicals was selected. This equipment is used to mix fly ash and auxiliary materials. Mix several materials intermittently, continuously, or all at once by stirring, turning, and spreading them to ensure thorough mixing within a short period of time.
⑤ Exhaust Gas Treatment System: This system collects odors generated during the operation of the medical waste workshop, incineration workshop, solidification workshop, and sewage treatment system through pipes and induced draft fans. The odors are then transported to a deodorization workshop, where they are deodorized using a combination of chemical scrubbing, demisters, UV photolysis, and activated carbon adsorption. The deodorization equipment is located in an open space adjacent to the workshop for easy access to pipes. After purification, the odors are discharged into the air through a 15-meter-high exhaust stack.
⑥ Power System: The electrical system consists of high-voltage switchgear, ring main unit, low-voltage switchgear, transformers, compensation cabinets, and other components, as well as the external power conversion work commissioned by Party A.
