Indirect thermal desorption involves leasing the 2022 slag site soil treatment project of Wushihua

This project, based on the overall plan for the Wushihua 2022 Slag Site Soil Remediation Project, focuses on soil pollution issues at the slag site and surrounding areas in Midong District, Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It aims to utilize specialized remediation technologies to fulfill environmental supervision requirements and achieve harmless disposal and resource utilization of contaminated soil. Our company is responsible for the ex situ thermal desorption treatment of high-concentration soil, a core component of the project with high technical difficulty and large-scale disposal, and plays a key role in supporting the overall remediation effectiveness.

Panjin Northern Asphalt Fuel Co., Ltd. former factory area contaminated soil remediation construction project

The Panjin Northern Asphalt Fuel Co., Ltd. former plant contaminated soil remediation project is located 30 meters south of Binhai Avenue in Dawa District, Panjin City, Liaoning Province. The remediation depth is 0-1.5 meters, and the remediation volume is 280,746.78 m³. The primary pollutants are VOCs, SVOCs, and TPHs, treated using ex-situ thermal desorption.
This project features a large remediation workload and a short construction period. The majority of the contaminated soil is complex, increasing the construction difficulty. Furthermore, the inclusion of organic contamination poses the risk of volatile gases spreading to surrounding sensitive areas. Therefore, this project places extremely high demands on the professionalism of project management personnel and the control of the construction process.
The project's completion date for removal from the remediation list is March 27, 2025.

Guangzhou Shipyard Phase III Land Soil Pollution Remediation Project

The Guangzhou Shipyard Phase III site is located within the Guangzhou Shipyard International Co., Ltd. plot at No. 40, Fangcun Avenue South, Liwan District, Guangzhou (the "Guangzhou Shipyard Site"). The total volume of soil requiring remediation (or disposal) is approximately 100,463 m³, covering a total remediation area of 40,738 m², with a remediation depth of 0-8 m. Soil contaminants requiring remediation include lead, arsenic, copper, zinc, nickel, fluoride, petroleum hydrocarbons (C10-C40), benzo(a)anthracene, benzo(b)fluoranthene, benzo(a)pyrene, and dibenzo(a,h)anthracene. Treatment will be carried out using cement kiln co-processing technology, ex situ thermal desorption, ex situ leaching, ex situ chemical oxidation, horizontal barrier, and vertical barrier technologies. The contract duration for the project is 240 days. The project is expected to pass expert review of the effectiveness evaluation in September 2022 and will be removed from the list of construction land soil pollution risk control and remediation in January 2023. The restoration construction process of this project involves the cross-construction of multiple restoration technologies, as well as deep foundation pit excavation, support, dewatering and other processes. Multiple professional projects are cross-constructed, the site has a large contaminated area and a large amount of contaminated earthwork, but the area of uncontaminated area available for storage is small, and earthwork turnover is difficult. This is a key difficulty for on-site construction organization, resource allocation, and process arrangement.

Sichuan Huafu Lubricant Co., Ltd. waste site soil pollution control and remediation project

This project's site remediation targets three types of media: heavy metal-contaminated soil, petroleum hydrocarbon-contaminated soil, and contaminated groundwater. 35 m³ of medium-metal (lead) contaminated soil, 2,911.5 m³ of petroleum hydrocarbon-contaminated soil (see Table 1.3-1 for details), and 4,472.8 m³ of contaminated groundwater (see Table 1.3-2 for details) were remediated. The remediated soil ultimately met the second-class construction land standard as specified in the "Soil Environmental Quality - Construction Land Soil Pollution Risk Control Standard (Trial)" (GB36600-2018). This will effectively restore soil properties and improve the production and living environment of the site and surrounding residents.
